5 Egg Theories of Business
Egg theories are not theories for laying eggs. These are just thoughts, theories. The total thought is related with Business. Business situation, condition, process etc. are related with different conditions of an egg. Let’s see through the egg.
First, The Egg
How does an egg look like? It is shelled, covered. We all know, inside the shell, the total egg presents. What will you do with the egg? Playing or keep it safe? Suppose you are playing with an egg.
Throw it high and catch it or you are juggling or you are spinning it on a table. May be, it goes well first time or to third time. What if you missed? The shell will be cracked or broken and it becomes messy. Of course, you are not going to play and keep it safe. Business is also like that. Take it seriously and keep it in safe way rather than playing with business. If you play with your business, it will probably run well first. But, what will happen next? It will cracked, breakdown like egg. It will fall down slowly. A medicine supplying organization has been observed very closely. This organization supplies cancer related cameo and other supporting medicines and also health care related devices. They say that they are providing imported medicines with maintained quality and they are going to complete registration of their medicines. This organization was established in 2011. They haven’t registered a single medicine yet. First time, they got huge support and many doctors are slowly refusing to support them. Why? The medicines are not imported. They are crossed over border illegally. These medicines are very sensitive and should be maintained at proper temperature. They bring these medicines from border to the capitals by normal courier services provider. The medicines are not maintained at required temperature, even not delivered in a icebox. The medicines can be reacted. So, the doctors slowly refused to support. For this illegality, the medicines are not registered. Price is taken about 3 times at least. They played with business and it goes down slowly. So, handle with care your business.
Second, Egg (inside the shell)
There are two parts of an egg. One is yolk, the centered yellow and another is albumen, the surrounded liquid hazy glair. Albumen is for protecting yolk. Just think of an egg without shelter. You can see albumen surrounds the yellow yolk and yolk is seen hazy.
Now, your question will be ‘What should be protected?’ Business Secrecy; Plan, Strategy, Tactics, Inner Research etc. Business secrecy shouldn’t be revealed to others. It can be stolen. But you can tell vision, mission, financial status etc. which really makes your business secrecy hazy like albumen makes hazy the vision to yolk. Your competitor will guess about your business secrecy and guess cannot be accurate. If you have partners, you have to share your ideas at a same time, not individual. If you do that individually, your business will become a platform of chaos. So, keep it safe.
Third, Boiled Egg
Tasty, tight & beautiful. It is a perfect boiled egg’s scenario. Outside is white boiled albumen and inside is a yellow ball. White surrounds the yolk, making it beautiful. Take the business into it. Business has two parts;
management and employees. Management is the yolk and Employees are the white portion. If the relationship between HR and Management is tight well that means better, the business environment will be beautiful like boiled egg. Employees always execute the management’s decision. Management is nothing without employees and employees are valueless without management. Just like boiled yolk can be spoiled without boiled albumen and boiled albumen is valueless without yolk. Warmer boiled egg is tastier. Keep relation warm and tight.
Forth, Posed Egg
Posed egg has a beautiful yellow center and albumen surrounds it. The main attraction is the posed yolk. Take whole business in it.
Every business is either service oriented or goods oriented. Every service or good has features. Every feature is not required to potential clients. So, Salient features are important. There are two salesmen have been observed closely. The incident was happened at Tokyo square. One of them was of Oppo and another was of Huwei. First the potential customers went to Oppo’s showroom for knowing about a model of Smartphone. The salesman started to about features and he ended detailing after 30 minutes. It was simply torture and the persons were in trauma. After that, they went to a showroom and they met a salesman of Huwaei. He detailed the salient features and few special features for five minutes. The persons bought Huwaei Smartphone. So, Talk to the point.
Fifth, Omelet
Maximum people like it. Specially, the scent makes people hungry. In a word, delicious. But, there is a rule. Neither makes it too thick nor too thin. If you make it very thick, it cannot be fried and stays raw inside and becomes spoiled omelet. Again, if you make it too thin, it cannot be tasty. Taste cannot be satisfied.
Come to the wi-max companies in Bangladesh. Three companies; First one is QUBEE, Second one is Banglalion and last is Ollo. Ollo started their operation in 2011. it is still new. Come to QUBEE. What they have? At first, their target market was Dhaka. They set up sending-receiving devices at few towers. Not all the areas are covered. For, only Dhaka city, they had strategy sales team, consisted of 50 to 60 members. Next Direct sales team, consisted of 110 to 115 members. And also at least 2 distribution houses at every Ward. That means, heavy sales team, low coverage and tiny market. What happened? Heavy knock, poor service and internal chaos, sale stealing etc. Those made their market share to fall down. It is like make an omelet with 5 eggs in a 250 ml glass and making omelet spoiled. Next is Banglalion. It had low quality of coverage machinery, low quantity of people and capturing the whole market share of Bangladesh. Total Poor Quality Service. Result is losing market share. It looks like making an 18 inches diameter omelet with one egg which cannot be delicious. By this chance, broadband organizations regained their old reputations and gaining market share. So, Use resource properly; not less, not more.
All above, it can be said that if you want to run a business, you have to handle it carefully. Then, keep it safe. After that, keep all business relation warm and tight, talk or knock to the point and last use all resources perfectly; not less, not more. This is our ‘5 Egg Theories of Business’.
